WWE Royal Rumble Results

Tonight was WWE Royal Rumble Night. 40 superstars competing for a main event @ WrestleMania.

Royal Rumble Match

It was a fiercely competitive match. In the end however, Alberto Del Rio, the Mexican elitist, fofilled his storyline err destiny and won. A couple of surprises this year were former champ, Booker-T and Diesel.

WWE Title Match

The Miz defeated Randy Orton, who later competed in and came close to winning the rumble. He had help of course. The New Nexus, Led by CM Punk interfered on Mizs' behalf. (Man these guys are just making enemies everywhere, Cena, Orton, And The Corre led by their former leader, Wade Barrett over on SmackDown).

World Title Match

Edge overcame the challenge (If that's what you wanna call it) of Dolph Ziggler whos girlfriend Vicky Guererro, Acting GM (Gross Monster) banned Edges' finishing move the spear. Vicky interfered by jumping up on the apron and slapping Edge while Ziggler distracted the ref. Kelly Kelly came down to ringside and took care of Vicky. Later during the match, the ref was knocked on his butt. Siezing the moment, Edge hit the outlawed spear. Then as the ref gathered his wits, finished Ziggler off with the Killswitch (an obvious tribute to former teammate Christian) for the w.

WWE Divas Title

In what was supposed to be a handicap match featuring Team LayCool, Vs. Natalya, Eve took advantage and became WWE Divas Champ when the RAW GM made it a Fatal 4 Way with her as the fourth diva. However there was some contraversy involved (Big shocker there i know). While the ref was counting the pin with Eve on top of Layla, he missed Michelle McCool pinning Natalya at the same time. Look for some whining and moaning from McCool tomorrow ninght on RAW.

Journal Entry: 01/24/11

As i type this, i am waiting on AT&T to get off their fat duff and come find out why my new phone line isn't getting a dial tone. They said everything would work fine if i switched back to them for my phone service. Oh well, at least the Super Bowl will be good. Packers Vs. Steelers. Should be a shoot out from the word go. This Sunday is WWE Royal Rumble. This years rumble is being promoted as the biggest ever. 40 WWE superstars duking it out for the chance to main event WrestleMania 27 in Atlanta on April 3rd.

Also on the card Sunday The Miz defends the WWE Title against Randy Orton, and Edge defends the World Heavyweight Title against Dolph Ziggler. I predict John Cena will win the Rumble, Orton willl win the WWE Title and Edge will retain against Ziggler. (Let's face it, Ziggler is nothing more than a glorified curtain jerker and would have been religated to WWE Superstars if he weren't involved in a storyline with Vicky Guererro as her nboyfriend.)

Next month yours truly is eligable to upgrade to a new cell phone. Yippee. Don't get me wrong, my current phone is nice and all but texting with the 10 key instead of a qwerty keyboard is a pain in the ass. Plus i lost the plug adapter and now have to plug it into the USB port on my DVR or on my computer.

Speaking of my computer, the poor thing is practically at deaths doorstep. It was used when i got it and numerous upgrades have kept it on life support, but alas, i fear it may soon be time to buy a new one, pull the plug, and let old faithful die a merycful death in the e-waste pile. BOO HOO.

Journal Entry: 01/03/11

Well folks, it's officially 2011. WHOOOPIE!!! Me and my brothers family went to Sacramento to see my nephew, Austin off on his flight back to mommy. No thanks to a couple of traffic mishaps on the ride there, he just barely made it by the hair on his chinny chin chin. LOL. We also visited my sister Karen and her family. Fun was had by all. We even got in a game of Redneck Life. Unfortunately, me and one of my nephews now have a bad cold and my sisters kid wound up with Scarlet fever. That sucks. even worse than the time i got poison oak on my arm from working in her yard. OUCH!!!

On a lighter note. I spent New Years Day @ my uncle Donny's house. We ate, caught up and exchanged presents. I got the movie Stripes on DVD. And that's a fact jack. LOL. As you probably already know, The 49ers ended their season on a high note, destorying the hapless cardinals 38-7. It was fun watching the 49ers win. Now where was that team that marched out on the field today last week when they could have secured a spot in the NFC West Playoffs. Oh well ther will always be next year.
