Welcome

This is my personal journal. They say journalling is good for recovery because you can look back at your past successes and failures to see where you've grown and what still needs improvement. Tune in regularly as i'll be updating this bad boy on a semi- regular basis.

WWE Extreme Rules

Tonight was WWE Extreme Rules night. The one night of the year where the WWE "Goes Extreme". (They assume each year that viewers have forgotten about the TLC Pay-Per-View that aired just over 4 months prior). But i digress, here are the results.

Triple Threat Cage Match(WWE Title)

John Cena Vs. The Miz Vs. John Morrison

John Cena Beath John Morrison and The Miz to capture his ninth WWE Title. How will this play into tomorrow night's huge celebration of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's birthday on RAW? We'll just have to tune in to the USA Network @ 9/8 central and find out.

Ladder Match (World Heavyweight Title)

Christian Vs. Albetro Del Rio

Christian beat Alberto Del Rio who was drafted to RAW to claim the World Title that was vacated be Edge when a spine injury put an end to his wrestling career. This victory keeps the title on SmackDown thus ensuring that both brands have a major title.

Tables Match (United States Title)

Kofi Kingston Vs. Shaemus

Kofi Kingston Beat Shaemus to capturethe U.S. belt witch came over to SmackDown When the Celtic Warrior was drafted from RAW. (Now it's back on RAW and Daniel Bryan whom Shaemus beat for the title is now on SmackDown. Go figure).

Last Man Standing Match

Randy Orton Vs. CM Punk

Randy Orton once again proved how lethal his RKO is by defeating CM Punk with the lethal finisher. After Orton hit th RKO in grand faashion, Punk was rendered unable to answer the 10 count and lost the match.

Tag Team Country Whipping Match

Michael Cole & Jack Swagtger Vs. Jim Ross & Jerry "The King" Lawler

The absurd tag team of Michael Cole and Jack Swagger defeated the team of WWE Hall Of Fame inductees Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler when "Sir" Michael Cole snuck up and rolled Ross up for the 3 count. (Great now Cole is going to be downright insufferable as if he wasn't a pain in the ass to begin with).

Lumberjack Match (Tag Team Titles)

Kane & The Big Show Vs. Wade Barrett & Ezekiel Jackson

With WWE superstars and NXT rookies surrounding the ring, The Big Show and Kane Defeated Ezekial Jackson abd Wade Barrett of The Coore to retain the Unified Tag Titles. This is yet another in a string of defeats that are threatening to tare The Coore aprt. (Like that would just break my heart).

(Falls Count Anywhere Match)

Rey Mysterio Vs. Cody Rhodes

Apparently Rey Mysterio decided to take a page out of the playbook of former WWE superstar Tajiri by spraying a bluish green mist into the face of Rhodes. This move set Rhodes up the 619 witch led to the victory by Mysterio. Hopefully this puts the painful storyline err fued between Mysterio and Rhodes who blames Mysterio for breaking his nose back in January out of its mysery. (It was painful to watch and trust me i've seen some painful moments in wrestling history.)

And Finally

No DQ/Count Out Match (Loser Goes To TNA I mean Leaves WWE Rules)

Leila Vs. Michelle McCool

Former BFFs McCool and Leila who has been on a losing streak a Texas Mile long, squared off in a hotly contested match. After being hit with a Faith Breaker, Leila managed to reverse the pin and get the 3 count. (This of course assures that McCool will be seen in TNA as soon sa the No Compete Clause in her contract expires) WWE Newcomer Kharma (Formerly known as Awesome Kong) came out and gave McCool a farewell ass whipping. Nice way to send a diva off don't you think?

Well thats all for now. Will report Tuesday on how RAW went. As well as a few personal tidbits. Til then true believers, see ya in the funny papers.
